Dubai Exports (DE), the Trade Promotion entity of the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai, strives to ensure the success of the Exports sector in Dubai and the UAE, through various services to exporters. We develop long-term growth strategies to help UAE businesses expand and maximize their opportunities given by Dubai's unique position as a natural trade gateway between the East and the West.
Dubai Exports have a host of services that seek to serve exporters and re-exporters through Dubai. DE also is always seeking ways to improve the services in addition to providing new services to our businesses. We are thus happy to now announce a new initiative for our members, "The Verified Exporter Program". The objective of the program is dual:
- To assess and help in the development of the exporters (through DE Export Development Services, see below) who are deemed not yet "Export Capable & Ready".
- To help promote the Verified Exporters through the provision of a joint Dubai Government and Global Certification Company endorsement (Certification & Mark) that allows companies to use on their marketing collateral and websites. Such companies will also be listed on DE Website.
The strategic objectives of this initiative are:
- Identify Export Readiness of businesses in the UAE – An export assessment questionnaire, the initial part of this initiative helps address this requirement.
- Exporter Development – Deliver targeted development services to the exporter, mainly Export Awareness, Technical information & market intelligence as well as Exporter Development Services through partners (e.g. Trade Finance, training etc.).
- Export Promotion –We promote UAE's "Export Ready" businesses through this initiative (Verified Exporter Certification & Mark).
Buyer Validation Requests – For potential global buyers, this initiative serves as a credible verification process for their inquiries on UAE based companies (exporters).
